What if, say, Trump manages to significantly increase the US labor participation rate, stem the tide of illegal immigration, increase US domestic industry, production and business, raise US GDP rate of increase to more than 3% per year, repeals and replaces Obamacare with an at least marginally better system, and effectively eradicates ISIS....and nothing significantly negative happens otherwise...

I think it's a bit late to be talking about nothing significantly negative happening with regards to Trump. He's already lowered the standard of discourse and is responsible for the surge in fake news websites, like Breitbart. Normalised bigoted behaviour and empowered white supremacists. Increased the number of attacks against minorities and has many more feeling unsafe. Appointed people to positions in departments they seem hell bent on destroying. Has divided a nation like unseen since the Civil War. And has possibly Tweeted his was into a second Cold War.

I can only imagine his time spent as... I can't even bring myself to say it... will be marked by increased activism and protests. His party tries to defund Planned Parenthood; women take to the streets. He tries to halt NASA's earth science division; NASA walk out. He tries to dismantle the EPA; environmentalists retaliate. He tries to go ahead and drill and frack; Native American tribes make a stand. Repubs try to reverse gay marriage laws; every decent person strikes back. And so on...

He is the most unpopular... gah! still can't say it... going into term with a net popularity of 0. More people voted against him than for him and they are not going to make this easy for him. And so they shouldn't. Trump needs to be ended. End of story. He simply cannot be allowed to make all the regressive steps and strip back hard won civil rights and unleash environmental vandalism at a time when we are seeing the beginnings of an extinction event. He just can't.

Those same rocket scientists put those multi-billion dollar satellites into orbit which measure global temperatures and can measure land and sea ice at the poles to the mm. Also, by studying the Earth, especially in more extreme and inhospitable areas, they have a better idea of what it may be like out in space. If you really think one of the Earth's greatest scientific institutions houses a pseudo-scientific department within its ranks you are as stupid as a Tweet from Trump's Twitter account.

If Trump successfully curbs illegal immigration, and sends back the people he promised he would, then how is he going to grow the economy?
If he had been honest, he would have said that economic growth will slow or go backwards for a while, but it's worth it, because there will be fewer people.

Of course, nobody's mentioned debt. Did he promise to reduce debt? Is he going to grow the economy without borrowing more? Is he going to borrow to pay for the wall?
Maybe THAT'S how he'll keep his promise.

It's very unlikely that many white Americans are there because of illegal immigration. You need to get your facts straight.
