I would support the death penalty for the leaders, IF there was a way of guaranteeing that they were actually guilty.
Which there never is.

So, spending the rest of their lives in jail is the next best thing.
Of course, that aresehole president will be just arresting anyone he doesn't like, on this pretext.
And he will get the convictions, because he's arresting the judges that he doesn't approve of as well.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.
