Luckily, there are enough sensible Americans, IMO, to make that only a sick fantasy. You will always have a substantial minority who would genuinely want 90% of the stuff on that quote, but the conservatives will get crushed in the next presidential election...

I have to disagree. It's almost 100% certain that the conservatives will win the next presidential election.
The only unsure thing is, will it be a Democrat or Republican?

They don't have a candidate. The GOP has sort of gone to a state where it can bang the drum about abortion and taxes and Obamacare. But it can't decide big things like a candidate. The traditional, senior candidate, Bush, is running 2%.
