The trolling charge is not aimed at people with controversial opinions. It's meant to discourage harassment of the sort perpetrated by Dennis Markuze, Andrew Auernheimer, Brenda Leyland, Peter Nunn and their ilk.

Yes! While they spent their time drinking cappuccinos at the Ilk Cafe, they weren't a problem. When it closed they became one big time.

Government cracks down on internet sarcasm

JUSTICE minister Chris Grayling has announced tough new penalties for individuals using sarcasm online.

He said: “These people deliberately say one thing while meaning another. Sarcasm is a linguistic device designed to cause annoyance and humiliation, it is never pleasant.”

Grayling highlighted his own experience on Twitter when user Fangtastic71 posted the comment ‘I like your face its cool’ on his feed.

“I replied ‘thanks’ only for this person to respond ’Not really you fucking Tory bell end’.

“The cruellest aspect of this behaviour is how he made me feel good then stung me, like a scorpion whose sting is made of words.”
