Last I heard the under 35 were losing all theirs !(but I can't see that happening) The thing about all the changes to the benefit system is that they are costing millions to do ! the savings might ,might pay for themselves eventually ! but that will be totally out weighed by the costs of trying to deal with the jobless benefit-less homeless .And as for making the jobseekers work for nothing what jobs are they going to do without making more unemployed ? Or are they just going to have gangs of people lined up at the side of the road picking litter or cutting grass in some hope that the public humiliation with drive them to find jobs ,Fucking funny because there will be no extra jobs the dole queue's are already full of public sector workers they have just fired !

Turn on the telly the adverts are full of companies buying secondhand gold at 15% of it's real worth and short term loan companies charging 3760 % Apr on loans to poor people who cannot pay their bills .

But we should look on the bright side the Banks are in profit again so the Bankers can get their big bonus cheques .

Smashing windows and starting fights in a crowd won't make anything better either. As I said before, I totally agree that we need more civil disobedience, but why not have it with some intelligence for a change? Civil disobedience is what Gandhi did, rioting is just fucking stupid.

Call me naive, but what's the problem with tuition fees when then only have to be paid back when early over 21 thousand? How will this put the financially challenged students off applying? Over the last 20 years, more and more people have gone to do degrees. When I did mine (just dropping that in, obviously) far fewer students studied to degree level. It is impossible to pay tuition fees for so many students now. What's wrong with paying for higher education, getting a better job and paying it back? If I have missed a point, please feel free to offer a contrasting opinion.

But 21 grand is reasonable, you can pay that in as little as two, three years depending on how you budget.
