Not much to say about the actual topic, really. He is a criminal, was captured, prosecuted, convicted and will serve punishment. Assuming he is guilty, as the court found, he will deserve what he gets. In and of itself, it doesn't say anything about the Canadian military in general, other than that the Canadian military has not perfected its ability to prevent all criminals from entering its military. It has shown, by way of example, however, that it will investigate and prosecute crime.

What else is there to this?

Should we all be saying, "Canada sucks ass! It has a military that has a criminal like this in it! They all suck! Boo! Canada is worse than Iran, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela! Especially Venezuela, because Hugo Chavez runs that military, and so it is a perfect example of social justice in action!"
