The law here is pretty reflective of the British 'personality'. You can hate who you like in the privacy of your home, but if you are seen to 'incite' racial (read also religious) hatred then you are in the shit.

The police really don't like this law and will on the whole be reluctant to enforce it.

The word 'incite' denotes intent to stir up and spread among others ... if the burning was a protest then it's not even incitement at all .. and they were arrested under 'suspicion' of incitement.

And any religious text that disparages other religions should be confiscated and burnt. :tea:
The alleged Jesus reported in the allegedly lovey-dovey new testament:

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. [Luke 19:27]

If that's not incitement to commit violence on religious grounds, I don't know what is.

It won't work. The people who wrote the religious books are all dead. You can't prosecute dead people. However, British law has apparently deteriorated to the point where it is now possible to prosecute people for protesting the inciteful religious books.

I had no idea Britain was this far gone, other than noticing a lot of very persistent British Islam apologists in forums. Well. That's how it goes. First your mind, then your freedom, then your money, then your clothes.

Blimey. It is rather a sad state of affairs, don't you think?

The law is defined in a way that includes unintended incitement I think. Plus, the word "suspicion" is used for all arrests here, because they are a "suspect".

I painted the bit I was replying to a lovely green just for you.
