Trump hates Fauci. The only explanation for keepin RFK Jr on the job. Now the dangerous mRNA vaccines will be forever banned as soon as they get to it. You will need to fly to Canada or Mexico to get vaccinated.

If the question was to me, I haven't, but honestly, I fear enough to lose precious IQ points by reading her craziness that I'm not tempted in the least to have first hand knowledge of randian stuff.

I still don't get it, rand is and idol of the crazy right, and I don't see why they should hate her, from what I've gathered, she's the total antithesis of what the left stands for, whether it be social minded moderates, or crazy commmies.

Most of them are fans. Paul Ryan was in politics due to her. He got kicked out since Trump did not like him.

If you haven't read Rand then why the fuck are you commenting on something you know nothing about :sulk:

In her escape from the Stalinist regime by crawling under barb wire to the west she brought a deep antipathy for any sort of bureacracy and a hatred of communism.
She championed women as equals in a time when it was anything but.
She championed the rights of creators ( Frank Lloyd Wright for one ) to reap the benefits of their work. ( watch the movie or read the book The Fountainhead) for a look at that. Wright wanted control over his creations and fought the architectural oligarchy and was forced to take on designing a building cottages in Ontario Canada ...just to make a living .

She felt unions were corrupt ( they were at the time - I recall my dad trying to work in Inco when he was paid $25 a week and had to pay the shift boss $5 a week just to keep his job.
She had zero respect for organized religion and was an atheist
She smoked, she drank.

23 Jan 2025 — By 1984 more than five million copies of Atlas Shrugged had been sold, and in a 1991 Library of Congress survey Americans named it second only to the Bible .
SV
So you haven't read one of the significant writers of the 20th Century and have the temerity to comment on it. :nono:

and for you Brian......that's equally true. Don't make snide comments about what you don't know.

Btw ...
where IS John Galt?

I read The Fountainhead years ago, and tried to read her philosophy but couldn’t stand it. I was a fairly devout Christian at the time. —can’t help laughing at myself for that…
