Other people share my observations:

We no longer have a functioning government. May must step aside

The prime minister has bottled it and pulled the vote on her Brexit deal. The country can’t go on like this

I hear that following May's delaying the crucial vote, some instances are hurrying up preparations for a dealless brexit...

I’d still be surprised if that happened. It would be unforgivable if our politicians let that happen.

I think the country is in a state of what you might call ‘distress’ at this point.

can't tell you're wrong, but politicos tend to be unforgiveable anyway...

It is going every shape possible. As the Dutch foreign secretary says: "She is welcome for a cup of coffee?" which apparently diplomatic talk for that there will wont be anything else available.

There's increasing talk of a second referendum the last couple of days. The logic appears to be that given that our politicians have had two years to sort this out and haven't managed to it is over to 'us' to make some sort of decision.

May has always said no to another one in very strong terms, so she would probably have to resign if we go down that route.

Well Rutte does not smoke. A pancake could be possible but probably a few speculaas.
