Although it may look like a forum, this site is actually a crowd-sourced science project modelling the slow but inexorable heat death of the universe.

I'm a little suspicious of this test. In other tests like this I usually came out on the same side as Obama and Hillary Clinton. Here, those two are closer to Mike Huckabee and I'm close to being a communist!

It's a nonsense quiz because it asks too much without enough room for the possible answers. You either agree or disagree, there is no "it depends on the circumstances".

But, did it place you in an unexpected place on the spectrum? I fully expected to be exactly where I wound up. A tad bit to the left of center or right near the line between left/right, and fair bit more libertarian than authoritarian. With a fair margin for error, I would still be more libertarian than authoritarian, but I am close enough in the middle that perhaps on a different day I'd be right on the line between left ant right. That's where I'd expect to be.

If it put me in the authoritarian category, something would be wrong. If it put me way to the right or way to the left, something would be wrong.

On this one, I was moderately capitalist, moderately libertarian, a social moderate, and moderate miltarily. Not surprising... http://politicalquiz.net/

I thought I'd be right authoritarian. :dono:

Yes, it did place me far too far to the left to reflect reality.

Based on my readings of many of your posts over time, i would have expected you to be farther left than me and more authoritarian than me. Perhaps moderately authoritarian and 3/4 left. That's just my view based only on your posts, and not knowing you otherwise.

The test is far too Merkin. And as for being authoritarian, all I can say is "lol".
