For that matter, who are the 'Alt-right'? I've heard a few people accused of it, and deny the label (J. Peterson, M. Yiannopolous, S. Crowder, B. Shapiro) but I don't know any who are 'true alt-right'.

Svarty didn't say he was an Incel - he said he was involuntarily celibate. You're equivocating: the two things are not the same. 'Incel' isn't a euphemism, nor a definitive description of someone who doesn't get the sex they want. It's a term some people apply to themselves in the context of a loose grouping which share some pretty odd ideas about women.

If they apply it to themselves, great. I get a bit cautious when people start labeling others with it (or those other labels) since it looks so much like group identity stuff. Gives me the creeps.

Within about six months of its creation Incels.me had over 7000 members. I'm sure you'll find other internet communities created by and for selflabelled Incels if you look around a bit.
