Yeah, but what the fuck is wrong with her? Either her husband is some kind of totally uncontrolled addict, a total narcissist, or a sociopath.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

What does she look for in the men she’s attracted to? “Intelligence. Sense of humor. And a big cock…that’s it. In that order. A nerd with a big penis. Ideal. A genius with a penis. Isn’t that what we all want?”

When it’s suggested that size can be difficult to discern, she looks incredulous. “Oh, come on. You can get an indication. We’ve all done random sampling here hands, feet and nose. All the extremeties. Sometimes you can be fooled, because if they’re too big, a really big guy, like six-seven with big hands and stuff, that can backfire on you. But you take an average-size man—six foot one, long, aqualine nose—you’re talking about an 85 percent accuracy rate. And then there’ the age-old trick: You make out with him, he gets a hard-on, you check it out. And then if it’s not all there, you say, `You know, I’m not really ready for this yet.’”

If you'd cheat on your wife, you'd cheat on your country. It's that simple I think.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

That seems to be overly simplistic.

Generally, people are as faithful as their options. All sorts of fucking goes on around the offices and hallowed halls of this world. People have various motivations for having affairs, and having an affair does not mean that one cannot do a good job in business, politics or some other line of work.

And those same people would steal if they thought they wouldn't get caught.

Or engage in racist trollery on the Internet. :prof:
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

No, but an honest person would, and facts aren't trolling.

I don't see where you get to that point -- is there evidence that people who have affairs are more likely to steal?

Or even better, is there solid evidence that all spouses care that much about whether or not their partner has sex with others?

I think it is incontrovertible that "not all" spouses care about whether or not their partner has sex with others.

However, i think it's pretty much incontrovertible that the vast majority of spouses care who their spouse has sex with.

Or at least say they do. Or rather, don't really go around saying that they don't.
