Where does Monster Raving Loony Party fit in on this chart?

I like the way you are edging completely off the scale there, red...

You'll make the Redfox jealous!

Having done this before, I am in the same quadrant as the majority, but somewhat closer to the centre than most, because I am sensible and wear cardigans...
Nurse, where the fuck's my cardigan?
And my gin!

Mind you, this is a U.S. survey... The UK right tends not to be as far right as the US right.

I wonder if there's a UK version?

I got a bit winded at around question #417, so I've stopped and will pick it up again later.

It shows all the parties for this election.

But this next one is more interesting to me because I have no real knowledge of what Labour were like before they became New Labour.

I would agree with the positioning of all of those parties except for Labour. I don't understand how they could be considered more authoritarian than the Tories. Even with Labour's shift to the Right, they're still more socially liberal than the Tories. Putting minimum wage and equal rights legislation through parliament for example. The Tories are generally opposed to worker's rights and take a firmer 'law and order' stance than Labour.

Your political compass

Economic Left/Right: -0.88
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.85

So, next time someone wants to claim I am a right winger or a full-blown libertarian.... :razzle:

No wonder I disagree with both sides of the political spectrum here in the US a lot....it seems I am not represented by any candidate from the last election.

This might as well be called the "mostly-lefty" forum 8-) .
An Arabian guy at the aeroport:
- Name?
- Ahmed al-Rhazib.
- Sex?
- Three to five times a week.
- No, no… I mean male or female?
- Male, female, sometimes camel.
- Holy cow!
- Yes, cow, sheep, animals in general.
- But isn’t that hostile?
- Horse style, doggy style, any style!
- Oh dear!
- No, no! Deer run too fast.

The Political Compass
Economic Left/Right: -4.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.59

:eddy:
In the best laid plans of history lie the ruins of the past
And a chronicle of suffering shows the mythic pall they cast
To believe is true religion, but to see is truth at last
Oh no, too late to hold a trial, time doesn't wait for the watchmaker's dial

Merged with a topic with an identical name from the past, on the advice of the very observant Seraph!
