He was a political leader, but not a politician. I don't think he got where he was by stumping and winning elections.

There are others. They're a definite minority.

On Friday, Senator Jon Kyl (R-Arizona) claimed on the floor of the house that abortion services account for 90% of Planned Parenthood's services (when in reality they account for 3%). Later on his spokesperson posted on his website that it wasn't meant to be taken as a fact, and now he's whining for everyone to stop making fun of him.
