Strange how there's hardly a mention of these protests on our North American networks. The ONE that did say a few words didn't mention protesters - it called them "anarchists".
No censorship or media bias here!

Strange that I got so much of it on CNN that I was bored with the issue after a while.

It's more harmful to mention the protesters when it comes to the riots, than to ignore the protests entirely and focus on the 'anarchist' rioters - provided you aren't a British media outlet.

To be fair the mainstream media here have been careful to differentiate between the ordinary person in the street protesters and the more 'anarchist' oriented ones.

The Daily Mail, not being mainstream (in my book anyway) had a huge headline about David Milliband (our opposition leader) siding with the anarchist by making a speech at the main rally.

To be fair the mainstream media here have been careful to differentiate between the ordinary person in the street protesters and the more 'anarchist' oriented ones.

The Daily Mail, not being mainstream (in my book anyway) had a huge headline about David Milliband (or opposition leader) siding with the anarchist by making a speech at the main rally.

CNN repeated that most of the marchers were peaceful, but the "live from the scene" seldom showed anything but the rowdies.

I didn't see Pen in there anywhere.
