I would eat it

:food:
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

// Replaces with spaces the braces in cases where braces in places cause stasis
   $str = str_replace(array("\{","\}")," ",$str);

My wife loves her biscuits. She never reads the ingredients. I always wonder myself. So much happens out of sight nowadays and no one asks about the imported sources. :pop:

I suspect this planet could comfortably support several billion more people, with our current technology, if we actually put it to that use.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

I suspect it could to, technically. What will fail well before the technology are societies in my view. Half the populations of countries like Egypt, Iran, India and Indonesia are under 25 and we are seeing what happens when they don't have jobs or a future right now in some of them..

Imagine the consequences of a pan-muslim caliphate spreading across the middle east and choking the oil supplies to the west?

Green tech really gets going?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

The Net is best considered analogous to communication with disincarnate intelligences. As any neophyte would tell you. Do not invoke that which you have no facility to banish.
