Hey just passing this on, very exciting, a new film about the greatest folk singer of all time and the most spot on political artist EVER.

Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Sorry, my vote goes to Ani DiFranco on that front. But I grew up with Phil Ochs-- Thanks for the vid.

Ani is good, true...but no Ochs! Your welcome!

Well, he lived at a good time to be an influential folk singer-- I'll give him that. And I'm curious about the movie.

It's also nice to open the discussion beyond Bob Dylan. No question the man was important, influential, etc., etc., but he wasn't the only folk singer worth talking about.
