Weird North Korea...

Post by Lozzer » Fri Jun 04, 2010 4:09 pm

I found this while searching through some North Korea group on the ole' Facebook. Some gentleman was 'fortunate' enough to get in NK on some form of tour. He took this photo:

His comment reads:
Kim Il Sung Mausoleum Square in PjongYang. Our guide pretended that people are just having fun on Sunday. I asked why they all are in uniform. Guess what? They just like it this way.
It's really ghostly, the square is just full of thousands of people quietly huddled together. And for what purpose? No one knows D:

It's too close to 1984 for comfort. :ddpan:

Talking about the clique is a treasonous action.

The truth of 1984 scares the shit out of me sometimes.

add some tall buildings and it would look just like most countries downtowns with "business" people wearing their suits/uniforms.
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.
