For just a few bucks more, you could...he coulda...it's simple, you just take some *** ***** ******, encase it in metal that's at least 1/4", for the timer/fuse...fuck it. Never mind.

That's pretty much the recipe I was referring to. Shit, we used to do that for fun back in Miss'ssippi.

We raided a "lab" in San Diego County one time. The whole place was rigged with pipe bombs, over fifty of them, and wired into a master switch with a five minute time. The EOD boys went ballistic when they saw that the wiring was wrong. If they had flipped the switch to start the timer the bombs would have gone off instantly.

They do seem pretty dim. I've made plenty of improv devices in my time, and I'm fairly sure I could get a gas cylinder to go off with a boom if I wanted to. Tying Black Cat rockets to a propane tank with gaffer will not an explosion make. Had the silly fuckers concentrated on developing rather than carpet biting, things would be worse for "us".

You can do it with the rocket fuel, a propane tank and two concrete blocks, plus one other item. Makes backyard barbecues much more interesting.

I'm going to have to turn off Sky News. They've been on about that Time Square terrorist all day long and, every time they say, "Faisal Shahzad," a magic cave opens in my living room wall.
