Newsnight at 30 - call me sad!

Just noticed that our Jeremy is doing a programme at 8 on BBC2 - 30 years of Newsnight. Will be some real gems if they do it with at least a touch of humour. Off to watch!

Tell her to turn it off.. :(

A missed opportunity - especially with the line-up they had there - from Chris Patten to Martin Amis to Neil Kinnock to Jarvis Cocker. And JP in the chair.

A producer should be fired.

They focused on UK/world life and politics for the last 30 years - a sort of panoramic rather grandiose review - not Newsnight. A subtle but fatal error.

Sad to say I knocked it off.
