Israel now proposing a giant concentration camp for Gazans. They seem to have no limits to their depravity.

Yeah, but some people at a pop festival were waving Palestinian flags and chanting "Free Palestine", so it all balances out in the end - for as the brave defender of free speech David Collier has told us, "Jewish people have every reason to see the Palestinian flag as a flag of genocidal hate" and "The Palestinian identity, and especially the ‘refugees’ were developed ONLY as a weapon against Israel".

That's a bizarre bit of projection innit? The creation/recognition of a Jewish state was used to push out Palestinians. The first conflicts were literally the result of attempts to create a Jewish state where there was some disagreement about its legitimacy. :dunno:
The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

Thing is they'll never live in peace side by side. Evidence that they were at it in the bronze age the same. This is a long lived blood feud, and trying solve it without moving one or the other population is maybe doomed to fail. Seems the arab world is quite big. Give the palestines some desert land in Iran or somewhere and let them make a go of it in a new home. Seems the obvious answer. When all else is seen to fail, maybe it will be given a shot...?

...either that or maybe they'll be wiped out completely maybe - israel had one too many brushes with evil exterminators and took the wrong/right lesson of a eye for a eye...

I'm just saying what'd work to produce maximum human happiness on this miserable rock for the alloted days - not sure it is ethical by standards of today, but given today that is no issue...one patche of desert is much the same as another - but one patch got less argument with missiles flying, put them there

Try applying that to your neighbours, or yourself. One house is pretty much the same as another; one street is pretty much the same as the next; whatever personal, family, community or economic ties you have to a place can easily be reproduced somewhere else - so why be upset or angry or outraged or vengeful when a superior military force flattens the house on land you've owned for generations, firebombs your street, destroys your community infrastructure, decimates your familial and social support system, cripples your economy and starves your children, parents and grandparents? Why not just move to some random place and build a new life from scratch there? - and whatever you do don't tell your stories to others, or share your grief, or teach your children about their history, and particularly don't be angry or bear a grudge because, frankly, that's not very helpful.

That's exactly the advice the Palestinians of the occupied territories and Gaza have been given for the last 80 years or so - the people forced from their lands by a superior military force are the ones who are to be loaded with the moral burdens of appeasing and meeting the ever-shifting conditions of their oppressors, And why? Because they're 'Arabs' and all Arabs are like this, that, or the other eh?
