Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late

if it was real fascism, the elections would not have been lost... by hook or by crook, they'd have been won, and the red plague would have gone on.

I'm reminded of a joke, which I only dimly recall, but it goes something like this. In this world, there are agents tasked with putting obstacles in our path, obstacles geared toward the goal of seeing that we don't succeed. Yet these agents themselves are subject to the same rules and have their own agents, diligently placing obstacles in their paths, toward preventing them from succeeding at stopping you.

There goes Trump's Jew vote. Even Kushner can't bring them back.

If DeSantis has the sense to do NOTHING he will be the candidate. He must not engage Trump.

The latest NBC News poll tells the story. Just 34% of registered voters nationally said they had a positive view of Trump, while 54% said they had a negative view.

A Quinnipiac University poll from August echoed the NBC results, with 34% of registered voters viewing Trump favorably and 57% viewing him unfavorably.

Usually, presidents’ poll numbers begin to improve once they leave office – as people tend to remember the good things about their tenure and forget the bad stuff as time passes. That hasn’t happened for Trump, for two big reasons:

1) He’s never really stepped off the national stage.
2) January 6 was such a cataclysm that people haven’t forgotten it.

Unfortunately, the bulk of what is putting Trump underwater is Democrats and Democrat leaning Independents. Neither matter in a Republican primary.

So it's all good. We will get Biden again. A sort of Reagan term 2 but Democrat version. All he has to be able to do is veto bills.

If only they could do something like this to Trump...

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-11-30/ ... /101714536
The government has censured former prime minister Scott Morrison in the House of Representatives for failing to disclose to the parliament and public his self-appointments to a number of ministries.

If only they could push Trump to the ground and beat him senseless with blackjacks.

he's old, he's fat, at this point he could have a heart attack or a stroke at any time... any poison that could be discreetly administered and that would mimic either?

Our constitution is so short that it does not really allow much control on presidents. The 14th amendment technically would exclude Trump. But on the other hand the constitution does not ban a president from running the country from prison.
