duckduckgo, and Whaleslide.

If I feel I need to use Google I use Gexsi to take the edge off it.

I've read that search engines like DuckDuckGo include more links to misinformation than Google. IIRC, DDG is served by Bing, which has a similar problem, but not as bad as DDG. I've never had an issue with Google.

The latest fad is a poverty social. Every woman must wear calico,
and every man his old clothes. In addition each is fined 25 cents if
he or she does not have a patch on his or her clothing. If these
parties become a regular thing, says an exchange, won't there be
a good chance for newspaper men to shine?

DDG is underpinned by Yahoo search.

edit: it seems it's both (and more)
DuckDuckGo's results are a compilation of "over 400" sources,[58] including Yahoo! Search BOSS, Wolfram Alpha, Bing, Yandex, its own web crawler (the DuckDuckBot) and others.
