The Belgo-Dutch War of 2018

Post by Clinton Huxley » Sun Feb 11, 2018 7:44 pm

The Dutch Natuurmonumenten, which is like the National Trust but, obviously, better, has called the Belgian coast shit.

If it weren't for the fact that both countries have already pre-emptively surrendered and now have no idea as to who will run the subsequent war crimes tribunal or receive reparations, this could have developed into the world's most polite war....

Apparently, the Germans have now put a towel over both countries.

The Dutch part of Belgium and the French part of Belgium will just separate and merge with their neighbouring countries.

Thus is politics. Each side claim that the other is at fault but reports on Russia Today appear to show a clandestine operation by Belgian Special Forces, all six of them, landing a cheese-shaped zodiac on a bleak Dutch beach armed with bin bags of dog doings and used sanitary products which the proceeded to scatter across the gritty shingle. Although this appears to be the latest skirmish to escalate the diplomatic war-of-words over shoreline stewardship analysts believe it is merely a proxy for the ongoing conflict between the UK and the EU Commission, who the British habitually refer to as "That dirty stinking bunch of garlic munching sausage swallowers."

It is about this:

Image

It is called locally the Atlantic wall. It is the result of corruption at local level. The price per squ/metre is just under that of London.

Knokke has been called one of the most ugly North seaside resorts. Well it is not beautiful but I have been there. The range of restaurants and pubs is amazing. If you like that sort of thing it is a great place. The beach these days takes second place. The problem for the Vlaaming is that fewer people are going there and more are going next door to the unspoilt beaches of Zeeland. As you can imagine our beaches and dunes are under strict control as we need our dunes the Belg dont.

Wish we had it would save us a lot of money. I have to pay €600 a year to keep them in good nick. We do have natural dunes and in fact they are between the Hague and the sea but the rest are man made and require a lot of maintenance.

The Netherregions will probably bring their "war fries" to bear on poor Belgium.

Maybe the Belgians will mobilize the Congolese against the Dutch. Nothing would make the Dutch surrender faster than a charging army of Svart Piets.
