“Let’s say you’re a super-wealthy single dude who just sold your company,” said Nile Niami. “You’ve just moved to L.A. and you don’t know anybody, so you hire someone to fill your house with partyers. You want everyone to know who you are, but you don’t want to talk to anybody. So you go sit in your V.I.P. room.”
Ummm, sure. An entirely common situation.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I'd be happy with a house half that price. I don't mind slumming it a bit.

Nah, doesn't go with my wife's color scheme.
The view's pretty good, but I like mine better.

Is that really your view? If so I'm on my way!
We are, incidentally, having a house built at the moment. Will be ready for occupation about May/June. Looked in on the site a couple of days ago and the poo pipes were being laid. Essentials first!

I don't look out my window and see it, but I used to get this view on my morning drive to work. I still get a good view of the mountains on my commute, but I no longer drive by the park with the red rock formations. That's a rather famous spot called the Garden of the Gods.
As for the view from my house, I can see the mountains over my neighbor's houses when the trees are bare, but I usually just walk to the corner to get an unimpeded view. It's one of the things I love about where I live. Postcard views abound.

The master suite is 5100 sq feet, with it's own kitchen. So yeah, why buy a $500 million mansion to live in a bedroom.

I Zillowed my house. You can Zillow any US house sold in this century. It seems to be worth 10 000 more than when I bought it 3 years ago. That might buy some of the rain gutters for the 500 million house.

You're not even making sense anymore. Russian troll hijack your account maybe? The real Russian trolls all turned anti-trump after the election.
