I expect it was a diversionary tactic. While the Natural History museum was in lockdown I expect agents of our Lizard Lords were fixing some piece of inconsistent 'evidence' in the building.

It's a scary place.
I once gave a lecture there. I was shitting my pants but thought it would be small affair. But the room was gigantic, and full. I was shaking like a leaf but got through it quite well.
I was at school, and three of us won an award for a project. Fuck knows why they chose me to narrate it.
And then I had to do it again on the radio, (before they had local radio).
That wasn't so bad, just one fella with a reel to reel tape recorder.

I would be even worse today. I now have a phobia of public speaking, and would just flatly refuse to do it.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.
