Well, then University of Kassel, Germany, and Stanford University, and Michigan State University, produce graduates and professors who have little knowledge of biology, evolution and their broader context. And, such folks lacking in knowledge are allowed to join the European Society for Evolutionary Biology, among other societies.

And as far as "bad reputation" - you know, Germany just voted to legalize gay marriage about 3 weeks ago, "just five days after Chancellor Angela Merkel unexpectedly relaxed her party’s opposition to same-sex marriage and allowed lawmakers to vote on the issue according to their consciences." So, the party of the Chancellor, up until a month ago, was strongly opposed to gay marriage. Obviously, there is some significant portion of the German population that is not particularly keen on gay marriage. To become law, the measure still requires approval by the upper house of Parliament and the signature of President Frank-Walter Steinmeier....." Once this is completed, Germany’s first same-sex marriages can be celebrated, probably in the early fall.

Strange, for a civilized, modern, enlightened western-European country, so much more advanced than the some other bigoted, homophobic countries, who shall remain nameless, the Krauts are lagging a bit behind the times...

Let's keep them all off the radio, and their associates and bed-fellows, too!

The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar
