The mysterious case of the Ed Stone

Post by mistermack » Fri May 12, 2017 10:40 am

The "Ed Stone" was an object of universal ridicule during the last general election.
It was said to have been destroyed shortly after.

Now it has "apparently" reappeared, just before this election, in a leafy garden in a restaurant in Chelsea owned by a Tory donor.

I smell a rat. It looks fake to me. What do you think? A stunt cooked up by the Telegraph and Ben Fogle to help tip the election?

The resurrection of Ed Stone affair is just another way to ad hom a political party without having to talk about serious stuff like policies and competences. It's just electioneering, and lording over one's opponent is par for the course.

If I was part of Labour, I would declare that as we never sold it, it must have been stolen, and demand it back.

The restaurant would have to own up to faking it, or lose it and get done for receiving stolen goods.
