700,000 gun owners is rather tiny proportion of "us Brits", of which there are over 64 million. And as one of the gun owners mentions, "when you tell someone you own a gun you're instantly labelled a weirdo".

One good thing about Elon Musk and his pretensions to colonize Mars is that nobody's going to willingly send indolent members of the dependent class 34 million miles through space to be part of the colonization. Theft of the fruits of one individual's labor using the expedient of jackbooted government thugs with machine guns to do their dirty work in acquiring what the socialists want has absolutely nothing to do with "communal spirit," it's theft by force plain and simple and there's no way around that truth.

"Communal spirit" is when people VOLUNTARILY contribute to the well-being of others who are in need WITHOUT being forced to do so at the muzzle of a machine gun, something which socialists are simply incapable of understanding because their minds are so small and narrow that they cannot see anything beyond their own greed, avarice, jealousy, cupidity and desire for Other People's Money.

The beauty of Libertarianism is that it functions on "communal spirit" in the form of rational self-interest, empathy, sympathy, altruism and charity. Libertarians voluntarily contribute to things that make life better for everyone because they know that cooperation is an essential survival trait, one just as important as self-discipline, honesty, honor and a solid work ethic that keeps the Libertarian, to the greatest degree possible, NOT dependent on others for support.

The thing that nettles tiny-minded socialists about Libertarianism is that on the other hand, Libertarians have zero tolerance for greed, dishonesty, avarice, theft, sloth, indolence or deliberate dependence, much less do Libertarians tolerate demands for INVOLUNTARY contributions to the welfare of those who are greedy, dishonest, avaricious, thieves, slothful or indolent. Those get shot dead when they try to steal from Libertarians, just as they should.

If you need help from a Libertarian all you need to do is show that you are worthy of the donation of their labor and ask them nicely for assistance. But try to steal from them, even using the jackbooted thugs of government to do so because they themselves are cowards of the first order and what they, and their thugs will get is contributions of copper-jacketed lead delivered at high velocity to important organs of their body, and that is fucking ALL they will get, and all they deserve.
