An ozzie friend from another forum (who works as an ambulance driver IIRC) was explaining how he just lost 2-6 K AUD a year due to some of those getting cancelled, and how he stood to lose 16K more if a project by the crappy PM to remove all of them for gummint employees went through. He even said he was contemplating leaving the sinking ship Australia.

Higher rates of pay on weekends and out of standard work hours, and for extended overtime. Conservatives view them as evil, because business has to pay more for their employees.

People should only get sick Monday through Friday between 9am to 5pm. But if he's losing 42k a year he must have been way over paid to start.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

Oh I thought it was 26k not 2-6k.
I get paid a whopping 1$ shift differential for 3rd shift. Time and a half only on Christmas and thanksgiving, aside for the normal over 40. No bonus for working over 8 hours.
