There is one potential fly in the ointment, for the "put it off as long as possible" plan, and that is the public mood.
Right now, there's no real movement to question why article 50 hasn't been triggered.
But there's no guarantee that the honeymoon period will last for long.

It the pressure builds up in the press, and they are all making a hullaballoo about why the button hasn't been pressed, it can only make Theresa May look like a ditherer. And she would hate that.
It takes a special kind of obstinacy to withstand that kind of pressure, and I don't think she's a female Jeremy Corbyn.
It's one thing to withstand dislike, but another entirely to stand out against scorn. And in this sexist world, it would be harder for a woman than a man.

Corbyn would have got an even harder time, if he had been female.
While there is a market for shit, there will be assholes to supply it.

That is why she appointed BoJo and Davis. They are her lightning conductors.

Well that is the idea. After failing to negotiate anything they will be toast.

It will last as long as it takes for the Plummeting Pound to cause hyperinflation.

Then we can watch the Whingeing Poms ask why nobody warned them...

Unfortunately, the only people who warned us were those so-called experts that were no better than scientists in the pay of the Nazi party. What we need now are some people who really know what they're on about, but with little or no expertise and very few opinions. Any ideas?
