There is a massive Greek, Vietnamese and Chinese culture in most Australian capital cities (70 odd percent of the population). Big Italian and Slav culture in Melbourne, South African in Brisbane and Perth, Lebanese in Sydney, plus all the other ones, including the rest of Europe. The post-war immigration boom was worrying to many anglo Aussies at the time, with many shaking their head over the weird nature of these "New Australians", as they called them over time. But, over the years, they became part of our mix, to the benefit of all (particularly in the culinary sense). The same has happened to a fair degree to asian immigration in more recent times. If I have any concerns about immigration, it is simply in terms of numbers - I would not want the average number per year any higher than it is at the moment, irrespective of race, because of the strain it puts on infrastructure and environment.
