Free thought is a danger to be rooted out. Free speech is only that which meets the fascists approval. Sucking resources out of the planet and its people gives fascists a hardon, It is their Porn. Communism is dead. Socialism didn't work: people like owning stuff. But what if you can't afford any stuff? Communism was a response to a certain set of circumstances, a time of systematic oppression and exploitation. If the economic system starts killing the masses off, consigning them to squalid lives lived at the whim of the powerful, if we can't feed our kids or put shoes on their feet, if we can't heat our home or don't know where the next meal is coming from, or if our wages won't cover our costs, and never will, and if a few lord it over us, berating us from the pristine lawns of their gated communities for the poverty they've inflicted on us, then we might change our minds. We might be eager to see a bit of communism resurface for a while, if only long enough for a revolution or two.
