How existentialist is Trump?

Post by laklak » Sat Apr 02, 2016 2:44 am

The Donald as the Nietzschean Superman, reshaping his world (and ours) through the agency of his personal Will. The Donald is neither good nor bad, he just IS. He has overcome his existential angst and embraced The Absurd. Eschewing rationality and the feel-good bullshit of Tillich and Kierkegaard, he instead embraces the Sisyphusian pointlessness of Camus, finding meaning only in his own existence.

Thoughts?
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

If he didn't exist, Seth would have to invent him...

I want to fight Trump on Pay Per View.

He's older than me, but he's also a couple inches taller and is a heavyweight in WBC or WMA, while I'll fight at light heavy. That's me giving up two weight classes and letting him wear a hair net. He may have been King Rat at New York Military Academy, but I know I can put him down with my foot on his toe.

He can keep the gate too, but I want all residuals when I clean his fucking clock.

Mr Trump: I'm not here for the $$. I'm here to teach you a lesson.

That's a very tiresome parody of existentialism

On the contrary - parody, tiresomeness and existentialism sum you up nicely, JimC

Trump didn't take the tests in that class. He was playing golf. Someone took the tests for him.
