Only a murderer with free will and the intent to kill people can be bracketed thus. No cunt was directly responsible for these 96 deaths. That's a fact.

I'm also suspicious about the politics underpinning this announcement. I mean, this guy would have contemplated and realised, even in 1989, what effect his judgements had upon the day's proceedings. To come out and say what he's said now, in 2015, reeks to me of a deal. Certainly, if he'd have said this in 1989, he'd have served many years in one of HM's prisons for 96 cases of manslaughter. In fact, the way he's worded it, he could have been done for 96 cases of actual murder.

I entirely agree with that post. It absolutely stinks of deals and blackmail.

He's been leaned on, with threats of charges and prison, unless he says sorry and takes the blame.
Anyone who hasn't been lean't on would have pointed out that his action was just one part of what happened, and if the fans hadn't pushed and shoved like pigs at the trough, but filed in normally, nobody would have died.

That cop didn't crush anybody. The Liverpool fans did that.

This inquest is just as much a whitewash as all the preceding inquiries. The object is to absolve the Liverpool fans in that tunnel from killing their own fellow fans.
You can fix an inquiry, but you can't change the facts. Liverpool fans killed those Liverpool fans.
