No, they get forgiven.

I seem to remember though, that when a complaint was made about a priest, the bishop would send an enforcer to speak with the parents and the child, and in return for a false ''assurance'' that the priest would be dealt with, the enforcer would get them to sign a pledge that they would never to the police or the press, on pain of excommunication if they broke the pledge.

So, far from excommunication being used against the priest, it was used against the victim.
