Well, yeah, but then again we've got the guns and the most powerful military in the world, so fuck you, we'll do as we please.
I'm sure that the US will do as IT pleases. Which may or may not be what YOU please.
You sing a different tune, when ''doing as we please'' is not what you want.
Just wait till someone REALLY has a go at mass slaughter, the story might be rather different.
The potential is there for something really spectacular, and the story could then change very fast.
911 changed things dramatically, and something domestic on the same scale could do the same.
9/11 changed little in the factual sense. 3000 people died. That's very sad, but it's a drop in the bucket as natural disasters go. 250,000 died in the tsunami in Indonesia (because they weren't smart enough not to live in the tsunami zone).
All 9/11 did was to give the powermongers in government an excuse to massively expand despotic government power and control and waste billions upon billions of American's hard-earned money trying to force civilization on two bunches of ignorant savages who should have been left to rape and kill one another and fester in their goat-shit filled mud huts.
If our government needs to do anything, it needs to concentrate on keeping chemical, biological and nuclear weapons out of the US, and the first step in that process is bringing every soldier we have home and putting them on the northern and southern border, and every navy ship we have stopping every fishing boat approaching our east and west coastlines.
Instead, Obama has been building that private army he talked about to oppress the citizens of the United States, and people are getting fed up with his pretensions to despotism.
But even if some terrorist nukes New York it's not going to destroy America or the principles upon which it's founded.
Only internal corruption by the evil cancer of unopposed Marxism can do that.
