And in case you ever feel the need it, please give it to some nearby kid who's without instead. The risk for radiation induced thyroid cancer and subsequently the effect of Iodine pills is so much higher for kids. Yeah, I was wondering if it makes a difference. Iodine absorbs readily through the skin. I guess I is I, no matter how it gets in your tissue. I might want to google that...

There is a difference in bioavailability and toxicity between the chemical forms used for different things, so be careful. As I said, you are old enough, not to need to worry too much about radiation induced thyroid cancer.
