Same here, but I am not able to see most issues in monochrome. Ambivalence keeps creeping in to one degree or another. My ability to see things in terms of black and white is severely underdeveloped. Some years ago I was working with a plumber on a building site. It was a cushy job, which gave us plenty of time to talk about just about any topic under the sun. At one stage he asked me in exasperation: "Can't you ever simply answer "yes" or "no" to a question?" I replied with something like "It depends on what the issue is. If it is clearly..." At that moment, he screwed up his eyes, then pointed and laughed at me. For a moment I was slightly miffed by his reaction, but then the penny dropped and I had to laugh too.
