Had Zep 1 in the truck just now. CRANKED Communications Breakdown at the stop light with the windows down. Dude next to me started head banging and throwing horns.

 Any LedZep track without Robert "Oh look at me, aren't I pretty" Plant messing it up is a good track.

I never had an LP back in the day. Like Sultans of Swing, they played it endlessly on radio. I have a couple of CDs now, mostly a few songs that get played less. Like...

Yeah, we get it already. You don't like Robert Plant. I'm not particularly keen on that prima donna either. He is also the reason why I don't like to listen to Led Zeppelin's live performances. John Bonham is the member who held the group together musically. Still, there's worse than Plant. Much worse. Sir George Ivan Morrison. Robert Allen Zimmerman. ...

Sorry, I think I might be doing a Dutchy :D I like Led Zep a lot. The guitar work and rhythm section interplay is tremendously skilled and exciting, I'm just disappointed every time the vocals come in. I have a similar reaction to The Smiths.

I get it, and I even said something similar in another thread. There are many bands that would be better off without singing.

Possible poll (do we need a thread?)
Vote for the less tolerable vocals

1 Geddy Lee

2 Robert Plant
