Re: The thirteenth musical thrill: what are you listening to?
I have this LP. It was a mid 70s band in Wisconsin. Only saw then once, maybe twice. Their gimmick was to play a grand theme coming on stage, either one they wrote or The Pink Panther Theme

Not really the top band, but entertaining. In fact the top band in town in 1975 was Spooner, and Cheap Trick in a rough form.
two members of Spooner were in Garbage later. The girl wrote all the lyrics by then.

Said Peter...what you're requesting just isn't my bag
Said Daemon, who's sorry too, but y'see we didn't have no choice
And our hands they are many and we'd be of one voice
We've come all the way from Wigan to get up and state
Our case for survival before it's too late
Turn stone to bread, said Daemon Duncetan
Turn stone to bread right away...

Re: The thirteenth musical thrill: what are you listening to?
I have only ever seen this one clip from Leeds. I have memorized all of the LP album, so if I hear any other live version of these, such as Woodstock of Isle of Wright, they sound wrong to me.
