Some Nice Cyborg Music

Post by James Redford » Sat Sep 19, 2015 3:53 am

Hello, all my pulchritudinous lovelies. Since this friendly forum has a music subforum, I thought that I would share some harmonical enrapturement for your stereophonic listening pleasure.

Existence is my church, and I worship at the shrine of exponentially-advancing technology. Below is a tune that's just about guaranteed to put a grin above one's chin. It's a delightful 1:38:12 h:min:sec various-artists DJ mixset of angelic mechanoid music. It gives a slight peek into the far-future beings who will be resurrecting us with computational resources diverging to infinity.

* "LIQUID STRANGER - BIONIC BEATDOWN (DJ MIX)", Liquid Stranger ( youtube.com/user/TheLiquidStranger ), Jan. 19, 2012, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gXcXv_dI9M

Mirror:

* "Liquid Stranger - Bionic Beatdown", liquid stranger ( soundcloud.com/liquid-stranger ), Jan. 21, 2012, https://soundcloud.com/liquid-stranger/ ... ger-bionic . Mirrors: https://bit.ly/1NrtfWK , https://bit.ly/1PEqM9y .

This technoshamanic aural assault makes me feel so dirty. The drops are just so nasty.

It's like my ears are dripping with slimy nanobots.

I feel like an ape about to become a nanotechnological god.

* * * * *

I hereby designate this audio entitled "Bionic Beatdown" by Liquid Stranger (and of course the artists he mixes) as my official theme-music. Until further notice via communiqué, this shall remain my official theme-music.

Stand-by for further notice.

Welcome back, James. I patched your link through to my stereo, which is a step or two above the quality you get from electronic box movers and regretfully report that my experience did not result in a grin above my chin. Admittedly I did not listen to all of it, but I sampled enough to be quite confident that a full audition will not change my reaction to something more positive.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

That's one of the reasons it could not be fully guaranteed.

I don't wish to mark you off as a sourpuss, but I think your life-intake of LSD is lacking.

Someone, somewhere along the line, had to take a goodly portion of entheogen to come up with that.

And this is what happy cyborg music will sound like once they have exterminated all humanity:

The music in NineBerry's first post is alright ambient music in an H. R. Giger mode.

The music in NineBerry's second post is Nintendo Entertainment System-type music sped up a bit.

The music in Scumple's post is rather nice, and would pair well with a Japanese shoot 'em up.

But neither NineBerry nor Scumple appear to have taken nearly enough LSD.

And cyborgs don't make music.

They don't have to. Cyborgs which are sufficiently advanced have such fine-grained control over their own minds that they can create whatever mental state they wish at any given time.
