popular songs you inexplably like anyway

Post by tattuchu » Sun Sep 23, 2012 6:12 pm

Songs songs you kinda feel like you really shouldn't like them, but you love them anyway. Here's my list:

Everything by ABBA

I'll add more if I think of them. Feel free to add your own.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

Hades reminded me of this in the other thread. I really love this song

And this one

I think it's my favorite Rolling Stones song, actually :awesome:

Anything popular by Steely Dan I like.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

I generally don't like the Rolling Stones, but I think this song is a stroke of whimsical brilliance. My other favorites Rolling Stones song is "Hand of Fate."

Oh, I liked him when I was a kid. Also Jim Croce from that time period was a favorite.

But Steely Dan is very good. You'd never have to be embarrassed about liking Steely Dan's songs :dunno:

Many disco songs.
Most things I've heard from Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
"Lights" by Ellie Goulding

May all those with an ounce of testosterone forgive me!
