Fun song. For those non-Americans out there - if you come to visit, definitely consider Nashville, Tennessee as part of your trip. Ridin' up and down Broadway is a great time (as per the song above). Lots of live music, and fantastic country bars, clubs, honkey tonks and the like.
Then go from Nashville to Memphis, and visit Sun Records, Graceland and a few trips up and down Beal Street. That's America.
And, then head down by boat or car down to N'awlins (New Orleans) for Jazz music, and another phenomenal city.
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. ... The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up, But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “... But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.” - Ilhan Omar
Memphis is on my bucket list. My brother was posted there for 8 months and I never got my shit together to visit him.

Not really music, just an emotive American wail...
Scot Dutchy, you've changed! I didn't recognize you with that Ozzy accent!

American Pie is not a country song. It's folk rock.
