The emergence of late 90s/early noughties rock

Post by Lozzer » Wed Apr 13, 2011 3:21 pm

Used to absolutely love Sum 41, blink 182, Bowling for Soup, Papa Roach, Boxcar Racer, Offspring, Linkin Park, Jimmy Eat World etc. They're probably some of the best bands, ever. Their songs have, and still, play a major influence in my adolescence. I remember when I was 10, and my mother purchased me a Sum 41 hoody from the market; I'd wear it every day, and even sleep in it :{D

"quite crap" may be putting it a little mildly. eehh.
Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.

Pixies are one of my all-time favorites and I still listen to them daily. Green day is fun too when I'm in the right mood. When I was 14 and first heard "kerplunk", I thought they were gods :teef:

I like Mr. Bungle better.
The green careening planet
spins blindly in the dark
so close to annihilation.

Listen. No one listens. Meow.
