The first time I heard "Sounds of Silence" it was being blasted a full volume so we could hear it between flare-ups of gunfire. I still have an attitude about that song.

That sounds like something straight out of a Hollywood 'Nam blockbuster.

Anything that Vanilla Ice did, but particularly his obscene mangling of a Queen classic.

(Rum, you are so off base about Queen. One of the greatest bands ever, with far more musical sophistication than some ungrateful wretches have recognised here).

"Jack and Diane" by John Cougar Mellencamp

"Pinball Wizard" by The Who

"Come Together" by The Beatles

"Sympathy For The Devil" by The Rolling Stones
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

I once drank some Dr. Pepper. It was interesting, in a hmm-do-I-really-like-cherry sort of way. As for Irn Bru :|~

Back on topic: As time goes by I hate more and more of the shite from the 80's that I used to like. The 70's music seems more resilient though. :dono:

Okay I am particularly fond of Queen and especially their first five albums. (Though the Prophet's Song on Night at the Opera is a terrible slog.) "You're my Best Friend" is a magnificent pop song.
