I have just discovered a true guitar genius. I had never even heard of him until the day before yesterday - how I missed him I have no idea. He seems by consensus of those who know to be pretty much the most gifted guitarisst of the era. I started looking for more of his music and googled him, only to discover he died just a few weeks agao!! Anyway his name is Allan Holdsworth and he sounds like this:
