Suffering this one on and off for the past day and a half or so. I'm pretty sure I have not heard it since it was a hit more than 50 years ago. Finding the Youtube clip was difficult because I could not remember much of the (truly forgettable) lyrics. I used "trip", "weather is fine" and "lyrics" as search terms. Bingo moment occurred eventually when I clicked on this link.

I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

I just made out the last of these lines for the first time

But six rings and I rise
Wipe the sleep out of my eyes
My shaving razor's cold and it stings

The song is by John Stewart, of the late line up of Kinston Trio.
International disaster, gonna be a blaster
Gonna rearrange our lives
International disaster, send for the master
Don't wait to see the white of his eyes
International disaster, international disaster
Price of silver droppin' so do yer Christmas shopping
Before you lose the chance to score (Pembroke)

They did whaling songs and all kinds of half spoken comedy numbers. The closest they got to an ear worm: (original line up)

International disaster, gonna be a blaster
Gonna rearrange our lives
International disaster, send for the master
Don't wait to see the white of his eyes
International disaster, international disaster
Price of silver droppin' so do yer Christmas shopping
Before you lose the chance to score (Pembroke)

Ear worms are an excellent example of the idea of populations of memes evolving in a process analogous to natural selection...
