Well worth finding this rare semi-deleted Van Morrison album....one of his best, overlooked, masterpieces albeit all out-takes from down the years.

I hope that doesn't mean you only found out about it recently ... you of all people.Scumple wrote:Well worth finding this rare semi-deleted Van Morrison album....one of his best, overlooked, masterpieces albeit all out-takes from down the years.
...

I bought it way back when it was released in 1998. I feel old.

It's a great collection. But I listened mostly to The Zim today. This is Blind Willie McTell:
It's hard to find reliable Youtube videos of Bob's songs. They tend to have a short half-life. Damn you lawyers!

No, sold my original and recently bought again. More or less completed Van now. Got most of the early stuff and some Them. Seventies was the best for Bob and Van....both went off the boil via religion.klr wrote:I hope that doesn't mean you only found out about it recently ... you of all people.Scumple wrote:Well worth finding this rare semi-deleted Van Morrison album....one of his best, overlooked, masterpieces albeit all out-takes from down the years.

It's an XTC marathon here at the tattuchu household. My CD player holds five CDs, so here's the rotation:
Drums and Wires
Black Sea
English Settlement
Mummer
The Big Express

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

That reminds me ... Are Friends Electric was #1 in the UK 35 years ago. Than you, TOTP reruns.
A very unlikely #1 - it's not really "single material" at all - but I didn't complain back then, and I still don't.
