Pretty kitschy, gotta say. Which is not to say that Bulgarian music in itself is kitschy, I'm so sorry my Bulgarian origins don't go as far as having command of this singing technique. Here something better, the video does not quite match what is being sung, but Stefka Subotinova's voice and singing is unique:
